Peter Rosenthal, Ph.D. has more than 20 years of experience in the acquisition and management of high technology enterprises in both private and publicly held companies. His career has included positions in both the biotechnology and personal computer industries.
He was the founding Vice President of Marketing and Sales at two software companies – Interactive Media Corporation, a multimedia and web authoring tools company and DesignWare, a venture capital backed educational software publisher later acquired by Encyclopædia Britannica. Dr. Rosenthal is a founding member of The Angels' Forum of Palo Alto, California and has served as a Director of Vascular Pathways, and Interactive Media Corporation.
Dr. Rosenthal has served as Vice President of Business Development in Atari's Home Computer Division and later served as Vice President of Hardware Marketing and Vice President, Strategic Planning. He has also served as President of Telos Development Corporation, a seed stage venture capital fund sponsored by Montgomery Securities.
Dr. Rosenthal holds a B.A. in Biophysics from Amherst College and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology/Biophysics from M.I.T. Before entering the private sector he served as a senior research associate in Cancer Biology at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is also a graduate of the Executive Program in Strategic Marketing of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
