Hive Media creates social media games that allow fans to "live" their favorite hit movies, TV series or brands. We work with the top entertainment properties to allow their fans to extend their engagement and live the shows they love via Facebook, iPad and mobile devices. We select shows that have significant brand recognition, large ardent fan bases, and high profile marketing and ad sales programs. Co-marketing efforts with our content partners and access to their fan's Facebook feeds increases our fan to player conversion rate and results in longer engagement and higher monetization.
IntraPace
IntraPace is developing an endoscopically delivered gastric pacemaker for obesity treatment. Endoscopic delivery is much better for the doctor and the patient. The prodedure is less than one hour and the patient is sedated without anesthesia. This type of surgery is also easier for doctors to learn and can be done by surgeons and gastroenterologists. As an added bonus, this type of surgery is easily reversible if the patient chooses to do so. The company was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in Menlo Park, California.

Headquartered in Berkeley, CA., MOG was founded in June 2005 by David Hyman, former CEO of Gracenote, former SVP-Marketing at MTV Interactive, co-founder of Addicted to Noise, and self-proclaimed music junkie. In December 2009, MOG launched its subscription-based streaming music service giving users on-demand access to 7.5 million tracks from more than 800,000 artists. Grammy-winning record producer, Rick Rubin, named by Time Magazine as one of the "100 Most Influential People in the World," is a member of MOG's Board of Directors. Investors include Menlo Ventures, Balderton Capital, Simon Equity Group, Universal Music Group and Sony Music. MOG is an interactive music community where users can show off which music they listen to and when they listen to it. MOG can be used on both iPods and computers. As the user listens to songs, MOG records that information and uploads it to their website. Once users have enough songs listened to, MOG connects them with other users that have a similar musical taste.

Spinal Modulation is developing its first neuromodulation product to provide an option for the millions of people living with chronic pain. Spinal Modulation was founded in 2004 by Mir Imran and Daniel Kim, MD. Mir Imran is a serial entrepreneur and founder of InCube Ventures. Daniel Kim, MD was a neurosurgeon at Stanford University and now practices at Baylor University. In late 2005, Spinal Modulation began operations inside of InCube Labs. According to the 2002 Health Assessment on the Prevalence of Chronic Pain, severe chronic pain, as defined by the IASP, is prevalent in 10% - 13% of the adult population. Limited treatment options exist for these patients and the burden to the healthcare system is unsustainable. Through careful observation of patient needs, engagement of world renowned physicians, and recruitment of top engineering talent, Spinal Modulation is developing its first product-- a novel neuromodulation device. This product is expected to address the shortcomings of current chronic pain products and help improve the lives of millions of patients living with this debilitating condition.

Turpitude was founded by Stieg Hedlund to create awesome games that are fun, innovative and "sticky." Using a rolodex built up over 20 years in the industry, Stieg has assembled a team for the company's first project, however no details are currently being released.
